I started trampolining when I was 7 & have always loved it. For me,
the world spinning around & upside down is the most fun exercise I could do.
The feeling of defying gravity & the adrenaline of going higher, somersaulting more,
twisting faster is incredible. The satisfaction of working hard on a new skill,
then finally achieving it is brilliant. I competed for years & still have
trophies, medals, awards & certificates from past competitions. But I have always
preferred learning new tricks, rather than perfecting certain ones for use in a
competition. That's why I wanted to set up a recreational club locally, to progress
new & interesting trampolining skills whilst in a fun & enjoyable atmosphere, without
the stress of an upcoming competition, being judged on neatness, or compared to others.
I started coaching when I was 17 in 2007. I love my job because I get
to share my passion with others. I enjoy the diversity of working with
many different personalities & teaching both children & adults. I have
lots of experience working with various disabilities & really enjoy
coaching these ones. Coaching can be challenging & exhausting, but it is so rewarding
to see the enjoyment & progress of each individual.
